Venus and Crescent Moon

Back to work today. Just a couple of emails to deal with. Very quiet at work. Quite a cold day outside. Plenty of frost. Temperature did rise a bit above 0degC. Crisp conditions for the lunchtime walk. Just a wee walk around the park as I know footpaths higher up the hill will have not been gritted. The Ochil hills have a good covering of snow, as do some of the munros.

Back home for lunch then back to work. After work, partner and I decided to go get some weekend groceries as my eldest son and his family will be visiting tomorrow. We did walk a wee distance down the hill, but in place it was a bit icy. So we boarded a bus for the rest of the journey. After shopping, we go to a café for Friday coffee and cake. Then the bus home. Getting home I noticed that the evening star, the planet Venus, and a crescent moon were shining quite brightly. I went and got my camera and took this shot hand held.
