On the beach

An end to the sunny weather.  It was cloudy and cold this morning.  The faulty house alarm went off about 7.20am, fortunately it had not sounded through the night.  We contacted an alarm system company who said they would be phone back later today.  There are amber weather warnings of heavy snow and freezing rain across the country although the south west is not likely to have snow.  I went out in the morning to pick up some food shopping in Exmouth and took this photo of the beach.  It was pretty windy and felt very cold but hadn't stopped a few dog walkers from going out.

Back home our alarm system decided to sound every hour which we stopped by entering our code.  As we didn't fancy a night of getting up to stop it going off through out the night we chased up the alarm company.  They were very busy dealing with alarms that were sounding in Plymouth but someone did come out to us and quickly sorted out the issue.  That was a relief.
