Early morning frost

It was a frosty start to the day and I took a few photos of the nearby hill view, as the sun was rising.  I then headed off to the gym for a sprint cycle class taking care as the roads were possibly icy for the air temperature was 2C.  It was a good energetic class and afterwards I made a quick visit to Dart's Farm for a few presents for friends.  Then back to the gym for a Pilates class.

I was back home for lunch.  As the weather was still wonderfully sunny I had a walk into town looking for birthday cards.  By now it was getting fairly cold but a quick walk along the beach meant I made the most of the beautifully sunny day.

It was my husbands turn to cook food tonight and he made an early start to it which was very fortunate.  We had just sat down to eat when we had a power cut.  The torches were found and two candles lit.  It was about one and a half hours until the power was restored.  Unfortunately the power cut triggered the house alarm which went off a couple of times.
