Goldfinch

It's been a cold day today which brought plenty of birds to the garden.  I took this groldfinch through the kitchen window.

As I was ill over Christmas I couldn't host the Boxing Day family meal as planned.  It has been rearranged for tomorrow, I hope that the forecast ice and snow doesn't cupper it again!

I have been doing housework and cooking towards tomorrow's meal, at least I'll have done a bit of preparation to save time tomorrow.
