4WD

A very different day for me.
2 friends from Dunedin are staying with and they are interested in 4 wheel driving. Our local Lions group (a service group) had a fundraising activity today for the Wānaka Search and Rescue …so I went along with my friends and 2 other mutual friends. There were 100 vehicles! It was extremely well organised and we went from Lowburn over the Pisa Range to Cardrona.
We were one of 2 cars that were female only…it was quite interesting some of the remarks and questions asked  of us.
It was fun - some gnarly bits and some very steep bits   And it was wonderful to go into country I couldn’t normally go into as some of it was on private land. It ended up with hot dogs and chips on a farm.
A fun experience.
