Moon and star

The moon and stars tonight were so bright and beautiful. I don’t think I have ever seen them quite like that. Tremendous.

Day 2 of decorating went well with all except the one big wall having two coats of a slightly different shade of white in a paint that is supposed to have particular reflective qualities useful in areas which do not receive much natural light.

Our downstairs smoke alarm was beeping at us so it was very useful to have a man with step ladders there to take it down for us. The instructions inside where you can’t see them. Informed us we needed a new battery so we ventured to screwfix to get a new battery. Screwfix is very close to a Greggs bakery and coffee shop so we treated ourselves to one of their highly recommended by Louie sausage rolls
