Night walk

A very small amount of snow overnight and another cold day, but not as sunny as yesterday.
Shopping this morning, plus some housework and preparing for a mini invasion late afternoon.
The other half of the family came for a "nibbles tea" (one way of being sure they'll all be happy with something) but before mum came from work we went down to the ponds in the dark. Plenty of energy was burnt off and the pond was relieved of some of its ice, the water birds were disappointed at not being fed and the animals wisely kept out of the way!
The tea was a success and there's not a lot left.
I was going to get a pic of them to go with last week's of the other half of the family but I forgot - though I don't think some of them would have stayed still long enough.
The extra is the cardigan I finished and she was delighted with her late present.
