First vine blip of 2025. It was a dull and chilly day -- I just went out for a quick blip walk.

B's starter did its stuff, tripling overnight after I fed it (extra). So I started a loaf which has gone quite well so far. We'll see how it tastes tomorrow. My own starters are still not doing much, but there is some sign of bubbles (and no cheese smell). And I have a backup jar of B's starter too (having used all of the fed jar in the bread).

Barrioboy's blip reminded me to browse new blippers and say hello to some of them. Do this if you have the time -- I remember how amazed and pleased I was to get a warm welcome on my first blip from late blipper chaiselongue, who lived not far from me.  Missed by many -- I still think of her when I see patterns of sharp shadows.
