Today's the day ...................... to be still

Another lovely winter's day, that took its time to slowly warm up to a few degrees above freezing.

There was not a breath of wind and hardly a ripple to disturb the water of the River Dee as it flowed towards Kirkcudbright on its way to the Solway Firth.  This is a view looking across to where the River Tarff joins it on its journey.

And the reflection in the water was a perfect copy of the hillside ...................
