Little Grebe #2

Thanks so much for all the lovely stars, hearts and comments for yesterday's kingfisher blip. They certainly are very popular. 

Today, we managed a very short trip out to Spike Island of around an hour in between the showers. We nearly started walking around to the bridge, but I needed the loo and it was a well timed decision as it started to pour down as we jumped into the car. 
Just three new birds to add to yesterdays bird list as the tide was in and the expected waders had already moved off. There were at least 3 pairs of little grebes on the canal, this one trying to escape into the reeds.
