My Hometown

We moved from Chester to Kendal exactly 33 years ago today. Which means I’ve now lived half my life here. Actually, I’ve just realised that my maths is somewhat suspect and I should have posted this blip last year (we’d have been here 32 years and I was aged 31 1/2 then).
So I’ve lived here for well over half my life now. Never regretted it and certainly have no intentions of going back. Or anywhere else for that matter.
Whichever way you look at it, I think I’m now entitled to answer “Kendal” when people ask me where I’m from. Which I will do from now on.
