Adam Hills Tonight
This is a pretty awful photo, but Julia, Nina and Phoebe look lovely despite my terrible skills! The lighting in the room was absolutely awful and by the time I remembered to get a photo we had to go into the studio so I didn't have time to fix it.
Back to uni today! I think I threatened to drop out three times before I even made it to my midday class, so obviously I'm not super keen to get back to studying. Still, I got myself to Caulfield and parked and I was only five minutes late to class so that's okay. The class was pretty good, and I already have an idea of what I want to do for my research project.
I spent forty minutes waiting to talk to someone about my parking permit, only to find that Caulfield permits are sold out and the waiting list is six months long so I can't get a cross campus permit. I decided to think about it because I'm not sure how worth it it would be.
I had time for a bit of a rest and some early dinner before rushing out to get the train into the city to get another train to Elsternwick to see the filming of Adam Hills Tonight. I somehow managed to coordinate all four of us and we all ended up in the right place at the right time so that was a success. The show was brilliant, and included my favourite act from the early days of Spicks & Specks - Barry Morgan (and his organ). I literally cried with laughter during his performance. Everyone should watch it on Wednesday, you might see me making hilarious faces as I try to stop laughing.
It was a really nice night, and it was fun going again. Hopefully the series comes back next year because I actually wouldn't mind going a third time!
Like I already said, this is such a bad photo. I find down lights to be the worst lighting because they give a really uneven spread of light. We were sitting between two sets of lights so it was really dark. I'm so sad this photo didn't come out well!
