On the Eighth Day of Christmas…

We could at last all be together for a proper Christmas celebration.

First we met here for Tom’s posh coffees, and to answer reflective questions about 2024. Then names that Allegra had prepared for Secret Santas, after which we walked to Re-Users and chose £5ish gifts for each other.

Some went for walks and some for naps and some to improve their presents.

Regrouping here, where Sam cooked us an amazing roast beef dinner, and we gave out our presents, with accompanying “nice things about the person”, with much laughter and admiration at each other’s creativity.

More questions to answer, drawn out of a bowl, about 2025 this time. Extras of Allegra with the pavlova I made, and the cake for Tom, whose birthday is actually Saturday.

Then the clearing up, with special thanks to Paul and Felicity for their help.
