Clean carpets

I went for a walk with my sister and her dog earlier and she mentioned that she needed to return a carpet cleaner that she had rented.  I've been meaning to do my carpets for ages so I asked to use it too and then return it for her tomorrow. So that is what I have spent the afternoon doing.  It's very satisfying and equally appalling to see the colour of the water that was coming off the carpets!
