Baking day

A morning of brownie baking and soup making. A quick trip to the local supermarket for a couple of things then lunch of crackers and the remainder of the Christmas cheeses. Afternoon walk with a friend - glorious - a pristine snowy landscape, blue skies and sunshine, though very cold! Lazy evening of crossword and a bit of TV though peace about to be shattered in the loveliest way by eldest, his girlfriend and a friend who are stopping off on their return journey south from their Highland Hogmanay.
