They know me and Jack Daniels got a history

Slept late again today 

The kids were meeting with gran for lunch ...

Boy was also needing to Work.  Jess needed to finish her book (Iron flame) ... I was crocheting

Tooli and her dad needed to play pool... We bought her a pole cue from our favour antique shop (Baileys - Paisley) .. and she needed to try to out 

Lunch done... Me Si and Jess headed down to collect them and move to the local hostelry where there is a pool table 

I dropped them and left them to it and did an obligatory walk right round the town gaining 4000 steps on the way. (I'm on a roll) 

I met them back there three pints down and Tooli was slaying them. The new cue (or stick as she calls it) was working well 

I managed two cups of coffee and they all had another 2 drinks (gals on half pints) ...and a plate of chips and curry sauce 

So now we are home.... Tooli and I are a bit weepy. It's almost time.... But they are all pleasantly plished and Si is creating in the kitchen.  

We're warm and cosy and happy. And that's all that matters
