The Cathedral
Mrs BB returned to work after the Christmas period which left me a free day to explore. It's long been on my list to get an aerial photograph of Gloucester Cathedral (1089AD) and I put that right today as you can see from the main and extra views of it.
I enjoyed exploring inside and it's surprisingly large with lots of cloisters and chapels and other rooms. It also houses the tomb of King Edward II (1302-1327AD)
I had a good couple of hours walking around the city centre, with film camera, in the cold but sunny afternoon. It might be the last nice day for a while with an artic blast due over the UK and very probable snow!
