A Winter's Day

A very windy night that saw the start of a grey day which remained all day long. Looking out the upstairs window, our Robin was out the front garden eyeing up the fatballs on our tree. Getting downstairs and grabbing the camera it was still there and allowed me to get a few photo's - ideal for this week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme 'Winter or Summer Scene' - obviously a wet winter's day in the UK!

Early afternoon we were in our local pub with friends and neighbours Archie and Jayne. I did intened to be home to watch the Cardiff City Fc v Coventry football match, but watched it on my phone. We were 1-0 up after a few minutes so another pint to celebrate!

I did get home at half time, and within two minutes of the restart Coventry had equalised and Cardiff had a forward sent off. We managed to hang on for a 1-1 draw!
