Blue sky over the old pump house

So nice to wake up to sun and blue skies.

This morning we took the grandchildren to Bushy Park so they could try out their binoculars and see how many different birds they could see. We got up to 12!
This is a photo of the old pump house in the Waterhouse Woodland Gardens. The gardens were laid out in 1920 and originally there was a pump in the little house to control the flow of water. When I was there in the summer the little house was completely covered in Ivy and difficult to even find it. However reading the latest Bushy Park newsletter I think they are going to ‘ repurpose’ it soon. So I shall watch with interest..

When I started blipping on 1 Jan2020 my first blip was a photo from these gardens!

We then went to Côte for lunch , not at all busy but I think they were short staffed as we had to wait ages.

Hoping that we will have blue sky again tomorrow as although it was only 1-3C it did not seem too cold as no wind.
