A really wet start to the new year

After the fun of seeing in the New Year last night, we had a leisurely breakfast, Andy set off home and Deb and I walked from the house down to the Lake and round to Great Wood. 

Full waterproofs were the order of the day, and photo opportunities were few, but I managed to get this shot across Strandshag Bay in a momentary lull between rain "showers" (!)

A brief showing of Aurora in the evening (extra) but nothing to get too excited over.
