Winter Day
A thoroughly beautiful winter day.
In the extras are Sugar and Bubble, the girls' guinea pigs. They were their Christmas presents and have been long anticipated and patiently awaited. Sparkle is in a snuggle bag which is an easy way to hold a guinea pig on your knee. They are very cute and the girls are thrilled, particularly the nine year old.
After coffee we left them and headed home via Killearn. We had planned to stop for a walk but the small car park at Loch Ardinning was full. The view is looking north and west from Killearn - I can't name the peaks I'm afraid. I want to say Ben Lomond but I'm used to identifying it from a different perspective.
I asked Cameraman to drop me few miles from home and I walked Flora back via Craigforth and Kildean. I've clocked up 16+K steps and feel the better for it. I saw a lovely kestrel and some goldfinches eating seeds but the snowy scene is my blip.
