Jack frost

The first day of sun for weeks but very cold.  Went out for an 11k run and managed to take in a bit of river and country park as well as suburban houses. I put on cold weather kit but got too hot fairly quickly. 
Finished off the sweet potato and carrot soup I made earlier this week for lunch. 
Took advantage of the sun to walk to the local shops to recycle glass and plastics and return a parcel. T's Christmas boots were not the right size despite using the sizing guide from the company. Larger ones are on their way.  
The frost has stayed on the cars despite the sunshine. I did like the pattern on the roof of our new electric car. One more day of leave before work again on Monday.
