And the Sun Sets....

..on the first day of 2025...

So far, 2025 is much better than 2024! Yes it rained, but I still talked myself into going down to the lake this evening for what might be an actual sunset...haven't seen one of those for quite some time! 

I figure that if I intend to be fit enough to travel this year, I had better get busy and work on that. It is a Start Small thing; right now, any walking I do in the great outdoors is an improvement! 

Of course, otherwise it was lazy day...finished my current novel and had a wee nap..took down a few Christmas decorations...and filled the bird feeders..exhausting! 

The excitement for tomorrow? Start a new novel! Wheee..oh and maybe snap a sunrise? One can hope..after all it IS a new year and hope is what a new year is all about, right? 

Oh and an indulgence..Seeing as how 100 new "extra" slots have magically appeared, I can't resist using one! I am terrible at taking selfies, but sometimes do, so that I can send them to my daughter to show her that I am out and about...and not just lounging on the sofa with my cat...This is the first one for the year, and will probably be the only one I ever post!
