Snake
We visited the beach at Bawdsey Quay today. It was glorious sitting relaxing in the sunshine, watching the boats at the jetty. Kerr had loads of fun playing on the sand and having a paddle. Mack had a good afternoon nap in his pram.
On the way to Bawdsey, we spotted this large grass snake sunning itself in the middle of the country road we were driving along. It moved to the grass verge when our car approached and we took some photos before leaving it to enjoy the sun.
It is a grass snake, fully grown female we think, as it was approximately 1 metre long. Very exciting!
