Goodbye 2024.

The final day of the year is very blustery with wind swirling around ‘The Policies’.

Our gigantic fern is still very green. Possibly another sign of global warming. 

Our electricity energy consumption figures also show a significant reduction which is line with the warmer temperatures of 2024. I keep daily readings on Numbers spreadsheets and can compare each day with the corresponding day of the previous year. The saving amounts to 1000Kw/hr. Our ‘green heating system’ is fully automatic and has been comfortable. 

Pat and I have enjoyed 2024, the year of our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We have much to be thankful and we look forward to 2025 with great optimism and with many ‘adventures’ already planned.
