Radar

We may have made a tactical error in visiting another museum today, but we went to the Musee de Radar in Douvres La Deliverande today. This is a view of the sky through a Wursburg Riese radar dish.

The cisit was actually rather interesting, taking radar all the way through from James Clark-Maxwell to the end of WW2. But in truth, the kids were desperate to be away and get to the swimming pool. And who can blame them? We had a good swim in the afternoon and were once again set up for the next couple of days!
