A bunch of old rocks
DDW's July Challenge - by Anniemay - "from the past'"
The Broch of Gurness, about a 5 minute drive from my home, is probably the best preserved Iron Age Broch village in the country (and free to visit after hours!) - Whilst I'm not too interested in recent history, neolithic times have always interested me greatly and sitting on top of a Broch alone and imagining what everyone was doing there more than 2000 years ago, is grand. I wanted to get a shot at sunset, but I sat at my friend's house too long!
