New Year's Day

Bailey being dosed up on Rescue Remedy seemed to help last night as he wasn't quite as anxious as he has been before with fireworks. He clearly had a disturbed night though as he has slept it off throughout the majority of today. We've had a steady day today too until we decided to head to the cathedral for sundown. I'd decided to forgo by monumental 1st January blip based on the weather and the cold but I am pleased we did make it. The cathedral's gold lighting was setting it off to good effect. 

I also read my first book of 2025 this morning. Just 150 well-spaced pages of my Secret Santa gift.
