Forty

Thirteen below last year's target but I have reached a nice round number for my 2024 reading. I enjoyed this one - a Christmas present from one of the favourite people. A quick read and a hard-to-define genre but excellent description and frame. My total includes a few audio books this year which is unusual for me but has bolstered the final number. No stand out books this year but I have enjoyed anything that I have bought at the Beverley bookshop which has been a good find. I need to work through the to-be-read pile in 2025, I think. 

Dad and I are ending 2024 with the same cold  as Mum and Bailey is most unhappy at the combination of people sneezing, fireworks and the wind. I have dosed him up with Rescue Remedy for dogs in the hope that that makes a difference at midnight.
