Punxsutawney Phil

I seem to be having a Groundhog Day experience... hence another Beer Blip. 

In theory I ought to be Blipping a triumphant Parkrun episode. In reality it was so wet I decided to leave my iPhone in the car. 

But I was there. 09.30 on the first day of the 2025, eager for the race director's "off". I was cold. I was wet. I just wanted to get it over with. 

My time was the best I have run for a while so that was rewarding. It was another morning when the finish line seemed like the best part of the event. 

What else? Oh, I made another decision about my weekend away later in the month, and I bought another ticket. 

I made soup - Junior is coming here for lunch tomorrow so with the soup ready to heat up I can focus on the main course. He should be bringing dessert with him - leftover birthday cake from yesterday. 

Now I need to give my Radler my full attention.
