Choctastic

It was the best way to start 2025…a swim down at the Quays. I had made a chocolate dispenser hat with real chocolates in it. There were over 200 swimmers and dippers, including all the gang, and I went round letting people get a chocolate out of my hat. Well, I didn’t want to swim with them as they made the already heavy hat even heavier. It made people smile and everyone likes a chocolate so I was happy. I was even happier when I won a prize for it lol.

I swam a little bit in it then I left it on the side whilst I swam the course. The water temp was 7° and I loved it all. The atmosphere was fabulous and everyone had a great time. Sian came down to the Quays to watch and then we both went to Costa in the Lowry for a cuppa and a catch up, she is such a lovely friend.
