Happy Hew Year Everyone

Today found me scampering around Lancaster University, orienteering . So pleased to see blue sky at last. The Blip is of one of the colleges rather than the orienteering because I liked the witch. A nod of course to the Pendle Witch Trials of 1612 held in Lancaster Castle which was, at the time, the highest court in the North West . 11  "witches from 2 families from rural Pendle Hill were tried and 10 were hung. The college is on a small hill that has been named Pendle HIll.
