New Year Gloom..

..the weather, not the
mood!  Snow, rain, bone-chilling breeze..
It's not too festive :-)

Very chilly today.  We thought it looked OK and ventured for a walk but boy was there a nip.. it was the sort that feels like icy fingers that prise open the gap between your scarf and your coat.. brr.
Ben has been a bit anxious, we're heading home tomorrow and he's just generally jangled, half bored and half over-stimulated, it's a funny concoction that only he can manage :-/
Other stuff.. nothing much.. washing, workmen chats, planning for Ben's birthday next week.  That's about it.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I decided New Year's Day could also be a Prosecco Day :-)  So that is probably a highlight!
