Happy New Year!

Twenty Twenty Four!
Starts with fireworks, early wake
ups and grumps! Oh well!

We were fortunate to only hear about 3 fireworks at midnight! The benefit of being in the North Pennines! Ben still woke at 3am though and was adamant he wasn’t sleepy, despite the yawning and complaining of headache and tummy ache :-/
We had a bit of a morning walk (see lovely photo) and then back home down the M6 to get Mr KCNQ2Haiku ready for work tomorrow :-(
Funny to think about Christmas and new years being over, after all the build up. I’m not a big fan of the January time of year usually, it seems so long until the weather will start warming up and there’s not so much to look forward to. But hey, we have Ben's birthday next, so that will keep us busy! Ha! :-)
