Bliadhna Mhath Ùr !

Happy New Year ! 

We headed down to the Street Party this afternoon and had a mighty fine time. We arrived in time for the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band whom I always enjoy hearing. We danced a Military Two Step,  the Gay Gordons and best of all an Orcadian Strip the Willow and ended with Auld Lang Syne. There was a fair sprinkling of locals in the crowd and it was nice chatting with different folk in between dances.
A good start to the year.

Fun fact (well at least to me): This is a square year with 45 being the root of 2025.  The last square year was 1936 and the next will be 2116 and so the only one I'll see.  45 is also 20+25 and so we  (20 + 25)^2 =2025.
