Not as bad as feared

This is exactly the spot where I blipped the dipper yesterday. The river level is nowhere as high as was first predicted but it is still knocking along at a fair lick!
Incredibly we heard and then watched a kingfisher just a little way downstream. I hadn't put the long lens on as I doubted we would see much in the way of birds.
What it was doing by the river today is beyond me.
