Happy New Year!

We had a very subdued evening with Matt feeling even worse by the minute, and none of us stayed up to see the New Year in. Today though, it was time for him to go home, so I managed to get him out of his bed (where he has spent the majority of the past three days) fed, packed and transported to the airport at Bordeaux.
Here he is giving a cheery smile, but he’s still feeling rough.
