Winter

New Year's Day this year has turned out to be one of the darkest, dampest and least lovely beginnings of January I can remember.  I did go for a walk with an umbrella and a waterproof jacket over the camera case, but as soon as I got to the park I realised I'd be much more comfortable sticking to hard surfaces, not sliding through the mud!  So here is a row of little houses just off North Walls, wet, chilly and under a dark sky with none of the cheerfulness you might expect in summer.  I am therefore tagging it for today's WidWed on the subject of Winter/Summer.  Very many thanks to StevenG for hosting.
