Undercarriage down..

It's been a beautiful day.  These two shots were the first I took on my reserve walk this morning.  Neither are perfect, but with the main in particular I just loved those feet untucked and ready to land.  The second was taken about 30 seconds later with the heron now looking rather smug.

Later on there was a trip into town to get more medicaments for J's appalling throat/cough and to supplement food supplies.  I meant also to do a whole lot of cleaning, but that resolve got drowned out by the smaller necessities of life.
