A day in the life

By Shelling

What's ahead?

I forced myself out into the three degree, windy and drizzly outside while it's still light to get the blood pumping through a quick, short walk. I felt much better afterwards. The morning was as late as the night was long and not much of value has been created during the short day. Lunch, containing yesterdays leftovers, was as good as I remembered it to be, even though I had less wine with it.

I haven't made a single New years promise. I thought about that when I passed the crowded Padel-hall during my walk, there's usually two or three cars outside, today about twenty. As long as I still have my sense of humour, empathy and curiosity, I'm happy to look ahead and live on.
Anything can happen!
