THE FIRST DAY OF A NEW YEAR

Looking out of the window on this First day of a New Year, the sky was grey and cloudy, the wind was blowing a hoolie and the rain was lashing down but I thanked God that all our fences were still upright - and I was reminded of a verse from the Bible!

It would be so easy to feel discouraged seeing and hearing the awful weather, but the lights were still shining - and a brand New Year gives us all the opportunity to turn the page, to start a new chapter and to start afresh, whatever has happened in our past!

May your New Year be a New chapter in a New book and may you be truly blessed on your journey through this year.
