First Bird of 2025

Yesterday I read an article about the meanings of the first birds you see on New Years Day.  No surprise that my first sighting was a sweet chickadee.  Here's what that means, "Chickadees are happy, charming, sociable birds. They are known for being adaptable, fearless, and protective. If you spot a chickadee, then this is a year for building relationships, making new friends, and trying new things." Sounds good to me.  We had a bit of icy snow last night, but the rain today will wash most of it away.  I always choose a word for the year on January 1st but this year I felt the need for two.  I've added it in the extras. And, like the chickadee, I hope I can be adaptable and fearless.  We have a new and challenging year ahead.
