Grey Heron

Happy new year everyone!
It was a VERY cold and wet morning by the loch today - the good thing was that the bad weather last night stopped the fireworks frightening the birds.. There were 4 heron over. The little female (pictured) and two of the youngsters (the male and the female - the female with the lighter head was missing). The noisy male was waiting at his usual spot by the clearing.
