in a flurry of fiery clouds

over the mountain range

it was so cloudy - most of the day - i wasn’t really counting on - a sunset to close out - the year and then - out of nowhere the sun - suddenly broke through those clouds - to begin a wonderful - display of colorful delight - one which only can be - attributed to the hand - of abba throwing paint - across the mountain range - and stacking reds and oranges - in stripes against the sky - so they’d glow like fire - taunting you to gaze in amazement - at his handiwork and know - it was a love pat only - he can give to close out another year

to say goodbye to one - while welcoming in another - to cherish the memories obtained - while hoping and praying for the renewal - of ones to come - it’s something only a loving - abba redeemer can do - for a people he has loved - for generations, and will continue on - for generations to come - be awed with me at the - miracle of one last sunset - of the year and glory as no two are - ever alike yet always lead to…
