Hogmanay Snaw
A fine calm morning, then snow started. Wintry showers all day, along with a howling gale that picked up.
Up early, last work day of the year. Another day working with Mickey and Craig. More black bag waste around Lerwick. Finished early, nipped along mam and dad, then Laura's for a cuppa. Gave my new year wishes. An afternoon cleaning the house. We've had big Brian and Madeline along for a roast dinner. Walkies with Sammy, then pub for a few. Friends coming along the house for the bells tonight.
We had weather warning for snow starting early for today, woke up, nothing! It wasn't long before the snowflakes started to fall, it really did get quite heavy for a while. Along with the wind, I think this was the coldest day working since I started, my poor fingers froze. Finally finished, then I could enjoy the snowy scenery. A quick snap on my way home from mam's. Brrrr, will there be many out first footing in this tonight. Taken near Mews, Wester Quarff.
My last Blip of the year. Hope you all have a wonderful New Year celebration :)
