Close enough

It’s been a long while since we’ve tried to stay up for the bells on New Year’s Eve even before being parents. So this is the closest we got. Taken just before bedtime.

Trying to think of a recap of the year but must admit it feels a bit of a blur. We’ve tried to pack in as many adventures as possible. Started Kara having sleepovers at Jen’s folks which has opened up us doing some fun things like gigs and getting away for a weekend. Family trips to London, Centre Parcs and down to my folks in Darlington. Got the barbells out more often as well which I’m proud of. Finally got that tattoo that I’d been planning for years. Jen started drumming lessons and is progressing really well! Those are things that just popped into my mind.

Next year already looks jam packed and we haven’t even started it but should be lots of fun.
