Finally stopped procrastinating
The music room finally got cleaned. As in, a pull everything off the shelves, move everything, clean everything, put it all back again and slightly reorganise some shelves, kind of clean..
I found the one small hymnbook which had got misfiled which set me off on this. (It's a melody line book and I occasionally use it with the piano students for some keyboard skills tests.)
The good news was, I'd kept up with filing and putting other things away far more than I thought I had.
The other bit of good news was I'd finally realised I can let go two whole boxes full of files and lyrics which I'd used in Main Workplace, and which I'd been storing, just in case. Pre-pandemic, I used to run an cross college enrichment Choir activity, it didn't get restarted when we went back to doing cross college enrichment activities in 2022. However, a new colleague is going to restart it after Christmas, and I'm sure they're not going to need any of the resources I created. (not judging by the blurb about their intention for the sessions.)
The less good news is - I've now got space for the three boxes of books and papers for recycling that I've got to move out of church before Phase 2 of the building works begin again.
