Made it through another year!

Janet has hauled herself downstairs so that we can wish you all a Happy New Year... I don't think she's likely to be up for the fireworks - which may or may not be cancelled due to the high winds that are even now building towards a roar. 

It's been a funny old year, and let's face it we're used to a funny old life. The last quarter has been full of building work, and it's good to be able to stand in the almost finished kitchen and raise a glass (mine at least has gin in it). It'll be even nicer when they come and finish the rest of the work next week...

2025 approaches. A new world awaits... the future's bright, but whether that's a good thing or nuclear conflagration only time will tell. As someone wrote earlier today, isn't time fascinating... in Australia it's already 2025, in the UK it's still 2024, and in America they're working towards 1937... ;-)
