Final Day of 2024

And a day for the kids to sing "Ta Kalenda" songs for this December festive day and to collect a dime for their young voices and the triangle they play; the tune is the same, but the words differ... for Christmas, for New Year's Eve and soon for Theofania (January 6th). 

The weather today was crazy mild with 18C and not a breath of wind. When off for some shopping for Sweetheart I took a walk onto the little peninsula of Agious Apostolous and enjoyed the quiet and the sun and wished I'd taken along my swimming suit like others there had done and they did go for a swim.

Like so many in this world, I wish that all the warlords face their Waterloo in 2025 ... it's exactly 25 years ago that Putin followed Jeltsin as ruler of the Soviet Union... the world knows since January 2000 what kind of ruler Vladimir Putin is.
