Gloaming

It wasn’t very busy at work today but we were short of staff, so I got my steps in :-) The weather was wild first thing - I kept waiting for it to get light, but it was still dark when I left the house. People arrived at the cafe looking very wet and hoping for a seat next to a radiator so they could dry off..

The rain had stopped by the time I got home so I put on my headtorch and set out for a walk I’m tired now, so I’m not sure I will last long after the bells and a toast to 2025 with a wee glass of Laphroaig with D.

It’ll be an interesting night in Edinburgh with people looking for somewhere to celebrate…
